our history

Our story from catering to screen.

Welcome to Foodtravelogue (FTL), the online magazine that celebrates all that’s great about Food, Travel and Social Events. Our online blogs is often referred as “like sitting at the kitchen table chatting with friends over coffee”, all of whom have interests similar to yours.

OW2 (Our World Too 1999), was a concept to bring together food and travel under one banner. To produce, package, cook and deliver was the ultimate aim. But as a young innovative company lacking funding, 1999 was not the year.

Catering to events such as Boomtown, 51st State, Glastonbury and Notting Hill Carnival, and other countrywide venues made us who we are.

We carved out our niche in catering at those various functions, amongst those who eat, work, travel and play.
At the millennium, there was Catering Bliss, Worcester, specializing in foods and fine dining.
Foodtravelogue online, promoted the company through social media, by advertising through, our own radio station (ftlradio.caster.fm), leafleting, word of mouth and refining our ideals.
If you have a story to share, you can also do that here, by clicking on the link below or our contact page.

our history

Our story from catering to screen.

Foodtravelogue online faced many challenges that in of itself were difficult, but they were also opportunities for growth. We embraced the uncertainty, when it loomed, not to instinctively recoil, seeking comfort in what we know and understand.

We saw the challenges as opportunities to adopt a different approach. We didn’t just tolerate it, we embrace it and bounced back from the setbacks, and kept going.

Now, foodtravelogue remains the beacon to chronicle our world too.

It’s global and inclusive, offering practical tools and resources to help make life that much more fun. Through thought-provoking online articles, recipes, travel destinations and social events. We share expert advice, and inform about any new innovations and resources.
